Day for Daniel

Today is the annual Day for Daniel, a celebration of the life a Daniel Morcombe, and a safety reminder to children and parents all over the country.

Day for Daniel will have a number of fun family events on and schools in most states will mark the day with activities and also by wearing red, the colour Daniel was wearing when he went missing in 2003.

A mock scene has been recreated at the place of his disappearance the Morcombes and police still remain hopeful the young man will be found.

Day for Daniel is held every year.
