On April 5th is this year’s Tour de Kawana - an annual charity cycle on the Sunshine Coast supporting Cystic Fibrosis Queensland; a not-for-profit organisation that provides emotional, financial and physical support to over 730 affected children and adults, and their families.
2009 will mark the fourth time this event has been held. This year’s ride will be staged at Stockland Park, on the other side of Lake Kawana to previous years, to accommodate the growing number of participants.
The ride is is also great entertainment for on-lookers; there will be prizes for the “Best Fancy Dressed” rider and the “Best Decorated” bike!
The first 800 registrants will receive an event bag which includes the 2009 Tour de Kawana event t-shirt.
